1. Location : K.V, G.C., C.R.P.F., Pinjore is about 3 Kms from Chandigarh-Kalka National Highway No. 22. It is situated in the green valley near the banks of Kaushaliya river in the G.C., C.R.P.F., Pinjore Campus.

2. Establishment: This K.V. was established in May 1997 to cater to the educational needs of the children of Government employees in group centre, C.R.P.F., Pinjore. It is now functioning with adequate facilities.

3. Library : The school Library is the nucleus of the school. It is a store house of books of varied interests and is subscribing 16 magazines and 8 newspapers. It provides a conducive atmosphere to inculcate reading habits.

4.Co-curricular Activities: A number of activities are orgairized in the Vidyalaya oil House-Wise basis to ensure allround development of the students through competitions like debates declarnations quiz, dances, songs, dramas & painting etc.

5. Games and Sports: Emphasis is laid on health and fitness by promoting games and sports, P.E.T., trained and qualified coaches are engaged to train the students.

6. Club and Adventure Activities : Eco Club-Kastoori Club is working for the protection and awareness of Environment.

7. Scouting and Guiding: A large number of students are encouraged to participate in Scouting and Guiding and Adventure is the key to happiness and all round development of the child, Vidyalaya organizes various types of adventure activities.

8. Career Counseling and Guidance: Group and Individual Counseling is provided to cater to the emotional needs of the adolescents.

9. Health and Medical Care: Medical check-up of students is carried out by qualified doctors to create awareness about Health and Immunization.

10. Parent-Teacher's Meeting: Regular Parent - Teacher Meetings are held in the Vidyalaya to monitor the progress of the Students.

11. Value based Education: In order to lay a strong foundation and all round development of young children, the teaching in the school is child-centered and activity-based. The emphasis is on learning by doing.

13. Computer Laboratory : The Vidyalaya has a well equipped Computer Lab for teaching the latest art of computer-technology by trained teachers.

14. Up gradation of the Vidyalaya: The vidyalaya has been up-graded upto XII level(Humanitieis Stream) and 11th Commerece has been introduced w.e.f April' 2007.

15.Strengthening of Primary Education : PRTs are teaching VVIth Activity Based Learning methods ill Primary Section to make learning enjoyable with the use of self made teaching aids, use of O.H.P., Tape-recorder, Music System of C.D's,of different topics. Students are motivated to participate in all activiites like recitation, story-telling, puzzle solving, dramatization etc. These activities make learning more interesting Activity sheets are prepared by the teachers. Work is given to bright as well as slow learners according to their level.

Short trips are also organized for primary section to enhance their knowledge about surroundings during the academic session. Hand writing project is taken in lariguages to improve their writing skill. Parent teacher meetings are organised from time to time to discuss the improvement and weak­areas of their wards. Zero failure target is achieved in Primary Section.
